It’s been more than a week and it still feels surreal - moments of that day still find their way into our dreams. We owe a lot of thank you’s to various people and we’d soon get to it as soon as we finish viewing the more than 10,000 pictures and watching the onsite video for the 736th time.

p.p.s. I really should retire that smile (plus the understated version of it) kasi nagamit na sya sobra but I’m still working on a new one - Mak

This woman personifies hard work and definitely commands the attention of her audience when she hosts! We’ve been told she assumes a different persona onstage but we were blown away watching her weave her magic during the reception program. If ever you read this Mal - we were glad to have you as a host on the wedding and we know you overextended to accommodate us. When we’ve settled down from all the post-wedding activities, we’ll come see you (wink).

We wanted the wedding of our dreams mainly because our parents never had the chance to. When all of us finally check out, all we can take are memories and I hope we gave you good ones tonight. – I’m happy to see everyone tonight. I’m in a good place. I have the love of my life, a family that has my back, a great company of friends, I have a lot to look forward to, and I know myself enough to trust and believe that anything is possible: including making a difference in this world because that’s exactly what WE are going to do. The thing about being in love is it makes you want to be bigger that what you really are.

This is THE wedding I’ve literally waited for years to happen.

HE: The epitome of infinite patience. Perpetually pleasant and extremely hardworking.

SHE: A colorful stream of energy, chatter, warmth and drama.

A relationship that endured nine years of calm and storm finally got sealed in the presence of God and loved ones. Witnessed by people who have been with the couple since their youth and early education, the ability of this couple to keep tabs with friends is a testament to how loyal they can be to the people they love. It is then not be difficult to imagine a life of forever for this couple who seem to have been made for each other.

According to the bride, things that were going wrong, went right that day. The rainy weather cleared, the electricity came back just as the people were arriving for the reception. God definitely wanted to give them the dream wedding they’ve worked so much and so hard for.

Loren & Mak, may your wedding day be the day you love each other the least, as your union only grows stronger each passing day. I will now be eagerly waiting for little Antonio and/or Nina Paula =)

I love you both!
